This Spiritual Journey Can
Transform Your Life

Yesterday in the garden I met Journey, a deeply spiritual cat.

I decided to call her Spiritual Journey because she radiated a unique and transforming aura of serenity.

Our first encounter didn’t go well, because she was sitting in the exact spot on the shed roof that everyone knows is reserved for me.

“Move it, Worm Face,” I said rather too abruptly. “That space is taken.”

She looked at me, her great mesmerizing eyes pouring out a tsunami of saintliness. “My name is Journey,” she said. “Come any closer and I’ll rip your eyes from their sockets.”

Knowingness
“I’ll stay where I am then,” I said.

From that moment I was under her spell. For so young a creature she had a knowingness about her which suggested she had walked this earth for a million years. I wanted to learn more.

“Where are you from, Spiritual Journey?”

“None of your freaking business,” she rejoindered.

Ripples
“What brings you to this realm?” I tried. “What ripples in the fabric of quantum reality have caused our lifepaths to intersect?”

“One more word from you and you’re dead meat,” she purred.

Something about her made mere speech impossible. I decided to just sit quietly and bask in the glow of her divine personality.

Eventually she said, “I’m off. The smell round here is overpowering.” And with that she was gone.

I’ve not seen her since, but I can feel her presence everywhere. It’s as if every tree, every leaf, ever blade of grass in the garden has been doused in her essence and is now resonating in synch to the rhythm of her universe.
